An MBA from IIBM, Syed Rizvi brings over 30 years of invaluable work experience to Canopy. As part of BE Ltd., he has worked in India and Nepal and has traveled extensively in the UK, USA and Middle East.


S.Faisal Rizvi, Managing Director

Faisal Rizvi underwent military training at the NDA in Pune and the OTA in Chennai. After securing a 4th rank in the All India Merit List of Defence Services, he studied business administration. He brings to Canopy a quality conscious, exacting work methodology and system gleaned from over a decade of work experience in the property development business.


Mir Mujahid Ali Mahmood, Director

Mr. Mir Mujahid Ali Mahmood is the director of business development in Canopy Dwellings Pvt. Ltd. (CDPL) and mainly caters to the NRI clients/investors. CDPL is a Pvt. Ltd. Company and has been developing residential and commercial projects in Bangalore since 2002-03. Mr. Mahmood provides a single point of contact for overseas Indians/investors and is primarily responsible for international marketing, overseas advertisements, broker solicitations and tie-ups, NRI community relations/customer service and regularly participates in Indian property exhibitions on behalf of CDPL.

Mr. Syed Yasir Rizvi – Director

Yasir Rizvi is one of the founding partners of CANOPY and is currently based in Chicago , USA . Mr. Rizvi caters to mainly NRI clients/investors and also manages the operations of a new company - CANOPY USA, Inc. Mr. Rizvi is a qualified Environmental Scientist with an MS Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Strathclyde, UK, and has over a decade of consulting experience. Mr. Rizvi provides consulting services to several leading US/International firms in environmental due diligence of commercial real estate and project management.

Sanjay Sahay , Executive Director (Finance & Administration)

An M.com and MBA in Finance, Sanjay Sahay has worked for over 15 years with the group companies of State Bank of India. He brings to Canopy his vast experience in the field of finance.


G.M.Kalmath, General Manager (Projects)

Qualified with a B.E. Civil, G.M. Kalmath has worked with some of the leading construction/business houses in Bangalore. These include Rustumji Developments and Divyasree Developers. He brings to Canopy his vast experience in the construction industry.
